Kansa By Author Prassant Kevin Book Review

Blurb:

OVER A SPAN OF TEN YEARS, HE KILLED FORTY PREGNANT WOMEN AND THEN VANISHED WITHOUT A TRACE. AFTER FIVE YEARS OF SILENCE, HE IS BACK AGAIN, SEEKING HIS NEXT VICTIM. ONLY ONE MAN CAN STOP HIM – PROFESSOR BLACK. Maher was found unconscious in the middle of the highway and later, in the hospital, she revealed that she had escaped from a killer’s house. All the details and patterns matched the serial killer ‘Kansa,’ who had disappeared five years ago after murdering forty pregnant women. ACP Saargi Desai was assigned to the case. She appealed to her department to bring back Professor Black to help her catch the killer. The Professor, who had a haunting past that had kept him away from the world of crime and investigation for several years, was not willing to take on this case. But the ACP managed to convince him to get on board just for this one last time. Soon after agreeing to help, the Professor realized that for the first time in his life, he had met his match. As he dug deeper into the case, everything got dirtier, the stakes went higher, and nothing was what it seemed.

The LazyScoop Review:

One of the most commendable things about the book is it’s small size and large font. It feels great in hands and enjoyable to read. The narration and pace of the book is fantastic. This is how a thriller should be!
It begins with an accident by Neil and Radhika and how the victim Maher is found with PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. ACP Sargi finds out about this and comes to the conclusion that the killer is Kansa, the murderer who disappeared five years ago after murdering 40 Pregnant women. This is when Professor Black comes in the picture on ACP Saargi’s request to the department, to catch the murderer.
The characterization in this book is very strong, the character of Kansa, the mystery around him is well described in the narration. There are some great twists in the plot and every chapter plays with your mind. The Racy Pace and the plot keeps you glued and excited to know what’s going to happen next. I found the language to be lucid, there are some minor typos, but it can be ignored.
Writing thrillers is tough especially with a good suspense, and Author Prassant Kevin successfully does that.
This being the first of the Trilogy, I am now eagerly waiting for the next books.
