This is the first time that I’ve read a book by Sourabh Mukherjee and I must say, I am really impressed. I absolutely love reading thrillers, especially the one’s which have unpredictable climax.

The Colours of Passion by Sourabh Mukherjee has a story which plays with your mind, and that’s the fun of reading it. You keep on guessing the culprit, but you fail to guess correctly. The Author has left no stone unturned to make the story as intriguing as possible. The plot builds up the Mystery chapter by chapter, giving no loopholes. And in the end, you can’t help but get shocked and awe for the Author’s wit.
The Characterization is fantastic, ACP Agni and all the other characters like Manav Chauhan,Rituja Bose, Mayank Kapoor, Hiya Sen, Neha are amazing. They all are intriguing and have a grey shade to their personalities.
Talking about other aspects, Narration is good too. Being a thriller, it plays a major part and Author Sourabh Mukherjee does a fine job without leaving any clue for the readers to know what happens in the end. Language is simple and even a non reader would understand the lucid words. I also liked the significance of colour red in the story.
